Dear GOD I'm exhausted. I flew red-eye into New York this morning and ended up at a dance parade in Tompkins Square Park this afternoon and just generally have been running around for the past two days. But I'm here now! And the weather is beautiful, gosh.
God, with a roster like mine, it's really amazing what a couple of days without touching the computer requires in catch-up. Please cut me a break/feel free to pull things to my attention so I don't miss them. :(

Apparently I'm going to be in NYC from May 19th to June 5th! As of, like, right now. There is a chance that I might even get a loft in SoHo to myself for five days, but that is up in the air, it seems. I GET TO STAY BY MYSELF IN MY OWN PLACE FOR FIVE DAYS. Sorry but I'm so bragging.
So yeah. I heard there might be like, a party or something. With you cool New York residents. ~Does anyone mind showing me around~~~~?

I mastered making gifs tonight, AT LONG LAST. The only issue now is that most of my files are avis, and they need to be mp4s. Does anyone know/can anyone recommend a good, simple conversion program for Windows?

For those of you who have asked: yes, my thumb is a lot better! It's actually down to normal size as of this morning. Still a bit sore, but I can use it, for which I am eternally grateful because goddamn, it was a pain in the ass not to have it for most of this week. I hate antibiotics but I'm quite happy that the amount of medication I have in my system kills all things. 8)
...I swear I had something else to update about but now I can't think of it for the life of me. So I'll just say that I'll be catching up on teacup drabbles hopefully and if I think of whatever else, I'll add it later yay!

for anyone who is following my thumb's tiny saga, i went to the clinic this afternoon and got tramadol and antibiotics. so hopefully that'll help at some point because i'm definitely hitting new pain highs rn. if i stop talking or anything it's probably either cause i can't type or because i'm like @___@ on painkillers.
fuckin' a, this vacation is not turning out to be as restful as i wanted it to be :|
[EDIT] if anyone is gross enough to want to see it, here. i couldn't take a picture in comparison to my other thumb cause... i kinda need that thumb to take a picture, but trust me when i say it's 2x the size.
